i dont speak turkish so i apologize this is going to be in english. my name is ian. i am from alaska and im here to snowboard in turkey. im going to set up some urban riding today and this is an open invitation to anyone who wants to learn a bit about street riding. get to me quick cause im heading out with or without any company. if you want to meet up then leave a response here. (in english please) and we can find a place to meet. peace.

first of all,welcome our comminty website for snowboard...
we have so many friends who wanna make snowboardıng somewhere in istanbul.im sure that people who can speak english can help you and maybe they can pıck u up from kadıkoy and wıll go to some place where you can make snowboard...

by the way,how many days wıll you stay in istanbul?we have so many trıp to go to mountain.....ıf u send us ur mobıle phone to our prıvate message box.we can contact wıth you later...and we can go somewhere at weekend...

we have just tried to ride at "ozgurluk park" in kadıkoy, feneryolu 1 hour ago
that was bullshit. snow wasn't enough to make a kicker.
one of my friend said somewhere around ataşehir and dudullu was good to ride. maybe we can meet somewhere around there.

please tell us when you find somewhere around kadıköy.

sorry i dont have a phone. my plan is to walk around and set up a handrail, ledge or drop someplace near kadikoy because that is where im staying. if you want to meet up pick a place. if you see a guy wandering around with a snowboard and a shovel then its me.

its too short and flat I think. 10-12mt long

also this is my apartment's garage entrance. snow and slope is enough but its ending with concrete surface :/

Hey ian, we met at the hotel in kartalkaya I guess, I'm the fatter one in the smoking room =)
hope you can find some nice spots to ride on the streets, on saturday I talked with burak on the phone and he also told me that you're going crazy for a street ride in istanbul =)
today the air and the snow is better, I'll check my neighbourhood for more now, if you can read this now somehow, tell someone around you to take you to ataşehir, its great in there. I had to give up on four hills though having winter tyres equipped. you can find many many nice spots.

Ian and thekillingroad, had I had a chance, I would really love you to join you at atasehir. Will take a couple minutes by walking from my flat. Its going to be very cold here we will down to -11 in places and the snow and frost just keeps coming. They are telling us the weekend and start of next week is to get even worse so to say we are reallyyyyyy happy bunnies here at all.
